As two weeks of prayer and fasting came to a close, the Lord gave the church an anchor: His Word is forever settled in heaven. Circumstances may change, but God does not change, and neither does what He has spoken. The same Word that holds the earth and the universe together is able to sustain our lives, preserve our families, guard our future, and carry every promise to fulfillment. When there is no meeting, no music, and no preacher nearby, we can still hold firmly to the Word of God, knowing that the God who has been faithful until now will remain faithful to every generation. May this be our testimony in the days ahead: “If Your Word had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.”
